Having worked with and for the most prominent Filmmakers, Screenwriters, Producers, and Studios in the film industry, MCH has amassed over 25 years of knowledge and experience. And he’s spilling all of his screenwriting secrets here.

3. Winning Structure & Formatting

Two elements are non-negotiable if you want your screenplay to be read and purchased by industry professionals: Proper Formatting and Winning Structure. Think of this as the ‘Canvas’ of all great screenplays. The ‘Paint’ is the story, the experience, and the drama the screenwriter infuses onto that canvas.  MCH will show you how to build out that canvas perfectly so you can be free to explore and paint that masterpiece.

4. Dialogue That Cooks

One of the most essential elements in a screenplay is this dialogue! Bad dialogue will sink a script, whereas great dialogue will be quoted for years. MCH will teach you how to craft noteworthy dialogue and do it FAST. It starts with understanding that a straightforward request or note that every producer looking to purchase a script gives: “We want the same… but different.” That’s all excellent dialogue is: something familiar, just told differently, and once you learn this incredible writer’s hack, you will never stress over dialogue again.

5. Compelling Characters

If you want to create compelling characters that actors will want to play, learn how actors create and embody the characters on the page. Most writers have never taken an acting class or studied the craft of acting. But who do you think will play the character in your script? Accountants? NO. Actors. MCH was an award-winning professional film and television actor for over 15 years, and he knows how actors create full-bodied characters from those black dots on the page. He will teach you how to write for those  actors.

Writing the screenplay is only half of it. If you want to sell it or see the movie made, you must ‘Perfect The Pitch.’ Often, we have a mere 15 to 20 minutes to tell a compelling story and convince a producer, studio, or financier to invest their time, energy, and money into you and your screenplay.  It’s a lot of pressure. But it doesn’t have to be. There is a very successful blueprint for the art of Pitching. And MCH will show you how.
